Prospects for attracting Uzbek workers to the construction sector of Spain were discussed in Madrid
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Farrukh Tursunov, held talks with the President of the National Union of Builders of Spain, Pedro Fernandez Allen.
During the negotiations, they discussed the large-scale reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years, specifically in the field of orderly and safe external labor migration. They addressed issues related to regulating external labor migration processes and ensuring the protection of the rights and interests of citizens traveling abroad for temporary work.
It was emphasized that all necessary conditions have been created for training and advanced training of citizens in various fields, in accordance with the requirements of their foreign employers. Significant results have been achieved with leading European countries, and processes have begun to send citizens to work abroad.
Pedro Fernandez Allen highly appreciated the efforts made in the field of external labor migration in Uzbekistan. According to him, creating opportunities for Uzbek citizens to engage in safe and orderly work activities in foreign countries is a positive indicator of a developing country.
Expressing gratitude for the detailed information and presentation provided, he mentioned that there are significant plans in the Spanish construction sector. Specifically, it is planned to build 200,000 state-owned properties and attract 700,000 workers to construct these structures.
As a result of the negotiations, agreements on cooperation in this area were reached.
