Uzbekistan attracts an increasing number of tourists
As "Dunyo" news agency reports, in the first 6 months of the year, more than 3.5 million foreign tourists visited Uzbekistan. According to the portal uzbektourism.uz, compared to the same period last year, this figure increased by 415.6 thousand people, or 13.3%.
The bulk of the tourist flow came from citizens of Kyrgyzstan - more than 1 million people. Next come Tajikistan and Kazakhstan with 1 million and 668.4 thousand tourists, respectively. During the first half of this year, 364.5 thousand Russians, 67.2 thousand Turkmen citizens, and 51.9 thousand Turkish citizens visited our country.
In addition, the top 10 included China (28.7 thousand people), India (28.2 thousand people), South Korea (19.6 thousand people), and Italy (17.7 thousand people).
